Sam Pinto is proud to be a Kapuso
After many speculations and rumors on who the Viva artist would be a Kapuso, the blur has been cleared out to finally set the stage to this young Viva artist. Sam Pinto, the ‘it-girl’ in the showbiz industry recently signed a three-year contract with GMA7. With the big bosses of the Kapuso station, Felipe Gozon, Gilberto Duavit Jr., Wilma Galvante, Annette Abrogar, and Ms. Veronique del Rosario, General Manager of Viva Artist Agency, GMA7 welcomed Sam Pinto with a delight of having the natural and talented beauty, Sam Pinto at the Kapuso channel.
“For now, it’s a long term contract kaya tuloy tuloy naman yan e, yung mga projects niya with the Kapuso Network. So Sam, welcome, welcome, our brand new Kapuso,” Wilma Galvante, the Senior VP and Head Entertainment Television proudly told the press with the new found talent.
“For TV, makikita natin siya sa soap opera na coming soon. And she’ll be part of Bubble Gang. Makikita rin natin siya paminsan-minsan sa Party Pilipinas. And also, she’s the leading lady of Senator Bong Revilla sa Agimat entry ni Senator Bong sa Film Fest so magiging very visible siya this coming months,” Annette Abrogar, the President of GMA Network, Films Inc. shared the anticipated projects for Sam Pinto.
She also added, “For me, personally, napakaganda niya. She has a very beautiful face and maganda kasi yung projection niya e. Kahit na maganda siya, parang nakikita mo na siya ay still down-to-earth and hindi tayo mahihirapan na ma-type cast siya sa isang role na pang mga sosyal lang or pang mahirap kasi I think she can tackle any role. From what I hear, she can also do action so, it’s very good to have versatile actresses in our network.”
We’ve already seen her at Midnight DJ, a show of TV5. After her all-tell exposure at PBB, a reality show of ABS-CBN, she will now make waves with the Kapuso Station. “Because I’m with Viva and I think they know what’s best for me”, Sam told us why she is transferring to the Kapuso Station. Will we see a new image for Sam Pinto? “As much as possible, I don’t want to change my image. Not now, maybe when I have to nalang.”
What are her expectations with her new management? “Everytime na I watch Party Pilipinas, naexcite na ko magperform, parang nakakamiss din after a while… Actually, as of now, I’m very open to anything and everything. Wala pang specific role. Basta I want to try everything. As in yung mga wild na roles. Kahit di bagay sakin, I wanna try it para iba naman.”
