WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao’s fight is getting near. This also means that Viva talent,  Zyrene Parsad needs to practice more and more for the anticipated fight of the second half of 2010.

Zyrene Parsad was chosen personally by People’s Champ, Manny Pacquiao after hearing her voice in one of the events held in Manila. In an interview with Zyrene Parsad last Wednesday at the press conference of VAA at Timog, she shared that she shares her gratitude to Filipinos.

RPM makes the album for all

RPM: IN A GOOD JAM

They were all put together in a room and they hit it off right away. No one can deny the camaraderie.  That’s how Carl, Chris, Pio, Vince, Anna, Sam and Yanna describe their connection since they became collectively known as RPM, Viva Records’ newest P-Pop group.

Formed in the early part of August 2010, they’ve gotten so close that each has already established a special character in the group:  Carl, the leader; Chris, the adviser; Pio, the life of the party; Vince, the pretty boy; Anna, the girl next door; Sam, the bubbly bunso; and Yanna, the spunky girl.

Though with different areas of expertise –some excel in singing, while others do better in dancing and rapping –the members consider this advantageous to their group as they complement each other.  For them, RPM is a great opportunity to let their individuality come out, and yet be able to learn from each other, so they can shine together. Eventually, the group will be trained and honed in all aspects of performing.

TV5 is rising and trending! With its uprising ratings in the Mega Manila and many parts of the Philippines, TV5 is now on its perfect radar in expanding and producing qualitative shows that will eventually boom more with the help of its subsidiaries. ‘Willing Willie’ recently had its Pilot airing last Saturday, October 23, 2010.

The newest variety game show of TV5 has similar games but different names with Willie Revillame’s former show Wowowee at ABSCBN. Despite the legalities of his contract, ‘Willing Willie’ hosted by the mass-appealing and controversial host, Willie Revillame pursued the airing of the show to bring good entertainment value for its audience.

Actually, it’s good kasi if you’re used to seeing Vice na sa Showtime na short hair, and laging nakawhatever yung hair niya, dito babae siya, babae siyang bakla. So it’s a different type of him na maldita siya. Oh yes, minsan maldita siya sa Showtime pero dito maldita siya na may dahilan naman kung bakit… maiinis ka pero nakakatawa parin”, Anne describing Vice Ganda’s acting in Petrang Kabayo.

Viva Media got a sneak peak on RPM’s rehearsal at the Viva Studio at Madrinian last October 14. Unfortunately they were lacking one member at that time-Yanna.  Practicing their dance moves and song, the boys and girls looked really good and fit for the performance. Sam and Anna could really dance and sing with style. It’s nice to know that they don’t have to lip sync if ever they would perform live.

The cast of Petrang Kabayo shared their sentiments regarding the soon-to-be “Comedy movie of the Year”, Petrang Kabayo. October 10, 2010 in SM Megamall Cinema 10 is a perfect timing for Vice Ganda to show everybody his piece ‘sample’ in acting. And yes, the date and the place itself have given the star-studded cast of Petrang Kabayo the perfect timing to have a good laugh and realizations to share with family and barkadas.
